What you get

One plan. Everything's in it. We're not going to make you buy a tier to get the security features.

One thing you'll need to bring

Obtainr runs on your own LLM API key — Anthropic, OpenAI, Groq, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. It's a five-minute setup and it means your documents go to a provider account you control, with no token mark-up from us. Expect a few pence per chase in provider costs on top of your subscription.

What a chase costs you

A chase is one job: one recipient, one set of requirements, however many follow-ups it takes to satisfy them. Not per email. A chase that takes six turns to get a complete set of statements is still one chase.

That works out at about 50p a chase. Someone spending twenty minutes a day writing reminders costs considerably more than that, and a file that closes a week earlier is worth more again.

100 chases is roughly five a day for a working month. Most people won't touch it. If you're going to, tell us and we'll raise the allowance.

Pricing questions

Is it per user or per firm?

Per user. £49 a month for each person running chases, billed to the firm on one invoice. The people you're chasing — clients, the other side, third parties — cost nothing and don't need accounts. If two fee earners share a caseload, you need two seats; if one person does all the chasing for a team, you need one.

What exactly counts as a chase?

One recipient plus one set of requirements, from the first email to the moment the requirements are met or the turn limit is reached. Follow-ups within that job are included. Asking one client for ID and statements is one chase, even if it takes five emails. Asking two clients for the same thing is two.

Do I need a card for the trial?

No. 14 days, no card, no sales call. Connect a mailbox, add your LLM key, run real chases on real files. If you don't come back at the end of it, nothing happens and nothing gets charged.

Why do I have to bring my own LLM key?

So your documents go to a provider account you control, and so we're not putting a margin on tokens. You'll add a key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Groq, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint — one field in settings. It usually costs a few pence per chase, paid direct to your provider, and you can see and cap that spend yourself.

What happens if we go over 100 chases?

Chasing pauses for the rest of the month and we'd rather you told us than hit it quietly. 100 per user is deliberately generous — it's more than most people open in a month — so reaching it usually means Obtainr is doing more for you than we priced for. Get in touch and we'll raise your allowance. We haven't set a price for overage yet, because nobody has needed one.

Can we cancel, and what happens to our data?

Cancel any time from settings; you keep access to the end of the paid month. You can disconnect a mailbox whenever you like, which stops every chase running through it immediately. Upload links stop working when a chase completes or after 30 days, whichever is sooner, so nothing stays open after you've gone.
